On November 10th, HELL FIRE DETROIT attended its first event, the 2015 Making It In Michigan Trade Show and Conference in Lansing, Michigan.

We met so many really nice, smart and helpful people at this event. Buyers, distributors, restaurateurs, manufacturers, MSU students, farmers, entrepreneurs, journalists, foodies, lawyers, etc. Yes, even the lawyers were nice! Our minimalist booth was all the buzz. Thanks for the good vibes everyone!!!

But one visitor was very special. A really nice MSU student (sorry, I can’t remember his name) came to tell me HFD was selected as one of three winners for the 2015 Westborn Market Product Placement Award. What da??? He walked me to the stage and I accepted the award then proceeded to choke on the Grammy speech I’d been preparing for the last 20 years. This award was a complete surprise to me. And an amazing one!!!
